QiGong & Tai Chi Workshop with Andrea Parks
A gentle practice of mindful movement, rooted in ancient wisdom.
What to Expect
QiGong and Tai Chi are time-honored practices from Chinese medicine and martial arts, often described as “meditation in motion.” These gentle, flowing movements promote balance, flexibility, stress relief, and mind-body connection.
In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to foundational concepts of Qi (energy), basic movement sequences, and breathing techniques. While QiGong is often described as simpler and more therapeutic, Tai Chi adds martial art elements with a similar flowing nature. Both practices are accessible for all ages and ability levels.
Benefits include:
Improved balance and coordination
Increased flexibility and mobility
Core and lower body strength
Stress relief and enhanced immune function
Cardiovascular health support
Whether you’re new to these practices or seeking to deepen your connection to mindful movement, this is a great place to begin.
