Missy Buesing discovered yoga during one of the most chaotic times in her life—and immediately felt its power. One hour of mindful movement offered calm, clarity, and relief that rippled far beyond the mat. With a background as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Missy often recommended yoga to her clients, recognizing its profound mental and physical benefits.

Her own yoga journey deepened following a Lyme disease diagnosis in 2008. Yoga became her only form of movement that didn’t aggravate her joints, offering a path to healing when other physical activities fell short. This personal transformation motivated her to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2013.

At Toula Yoga, Missy brings a compassionate, steady presence to every class. Whether you’re managing stress, healing from illness, or simply looking to move with intention, she’s here to walk beside you on your journey.
