Yoga for Every Body — Wheelchairs Welcome!

You won’t believe how much yoga you can do sitting down or standing with support. Chair Yoga and Adaptive Yoga at Toula Yoga make the healing benefits of yoga accessible to all bodies and abilities—including those with mobility challenges, chronic conditions, or who simply prefer a more supported practice.

Whether you’re seated in a chair or using one to support standing poses, you’ll be guided with care and respect in building strength, flexibility, balance, and breath awareness at your own pace.

Chair Yoga Details

When: Thursdays | 2:00 – 3:00 pm
Where: In-studio + Virtual via Zoom

You’ll practice seated and supported poses that improve posture, increase mobility, and reduce stress. You’ll also learn breath techniques, body awareness, and mindful movement—using props like bolsters, straps, blocks, and blankets to support your unique body.

What is Adaptive Yoga?

Adaptive Yoga is a heart-centered approach that makes yoga accessible to students of all physical ability levels. It’s not just about what the pose looks like—but how it feels.

Andrea Franz Parks, Toula Yoga’s owner and lead teacher, is trained in Adaptive Yoga by Matthew Sanford of Mind Body Solutions, a pioneer in mind-body connection for those living with disabilities. The method encourages inner awareness, connection, and self-empowerment through yoga—regardless of mobility or muscle control.

We’re open daily from 6 AM to 8 PM with a variety of classes to fit your schedule. Each class includes modifications for new yogis — your instructor will meet you where you are, so no need to worry if you’re just starting out.
