“Stretching and Toning for the Aging Body” to include a quick review of Kegel exercises which help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Plus, you will learn a 3-minute morning wake-up stretch routine.

Cost is $20 and attendance is limited to 15 women.
Registration is required. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
2:00 – 3:15 p.m. You will perform low-impact, controlled toning and stretching movements for abdomen, back, shoulders, legs, and glutes. Emphasis will be on proper alignment and rhythmic breath work to enhance each movement. The class will begin in a seated position on a chair for breathing warm up and upper body stretches, followed by standing and floor movement. Personal modifications will be given for limited flexibility.
PROPS INCLUDE: Chairs and therapy bands which will be provided.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MAT TO CLASS if you have one.

Paula Adams is passionate about keeping fit well into her 60's, 70's and beyond and wants to help other women address their changing body's unique needs. Her teaching style combines her training in classical ballet and precision core work of Pilates - with emphasis on proper body placement, toning, stretching, and breathing! She has been teaching fitness classes to women since 1996, has been practicing yoga for 20+ years and is certified in Mat Pilates. You will be motivated by her enthusiasm and gentle coaching!
